The Galbreath Family Charities recently donated $100,000 toward the Veterans Memorial Swinging Bridge repair and upgrade project in Winamac.
After a visit to the bridge from Galbreath Family Charities President Donald E. Galbreath and engineers to review the repairs and upkeep needed, it was decided that the preservation of the structural integrity of the Memorial Bridge was needed and a most significant concern.
Galbreath Family Charities board members Eric Galbreath and MacKenzie Ledley presented a check for $100,000 to the Winamac Town Manager to help with the repairs and upgrades.
Work on the bridge has been ongoing and is nearly complete.
Galbreath Family Charities seeks to improve the quality of life for residents for years to come.
