The Knox Board of Public Works opened bids for a proposed Knox Industrial Park sewer extension project Wednesday morning.
The first bid came in at $97,090 from Haskins Underground, Inc. with the alternate being $32,000. The second bid came in at $41,000 from JD Excavating LLC with no alternate.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok entertained a motion from the board to take the bids under advisement. That motion was made and seconded. The Board of Public Works approved taking the bids under advisement and plan to discuss this project at a future meeting.
