The Knox Community School Corporation and Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart came to an agreement to end his tenure sooner than expected during their meeting Wednesday.
In a previous meeting, the board approved the retirement of Dr. Reichhart with his final day being July 31 of this year.
School Board President Kirk Bennett told WKVI News that during their meeting Wednesday, the board and Dr. Reichhart came to an agreement in finalizing his retirement effective immediately.
A notification from the Knox Board of School Trustees stated, “The Board wants to wish Dr. Reichhart the best in his retirement. He has left the district in a very sound fiscal position. He and the board worked together to have a successful building project to move the district in a positive direction. Again, the board wishes him the best!”
