The North Judson Town Council recently approved a bid of $20,000 by Gary and Sons Lawn Care for grounds upkeep at Highland Cemetery and Pioneer Cemetery for 2023.
The contract includes ten mowings, leaf clean up and removal in the spring and fall, grooming of shrubs, weed eating and removal of grass clippings, brush and limbs, dead vegetation, and organic and non-organic refuse.
Any additional mowings after the contracted amount would result in an extra $2,000 per mow. Additional fees can also be added if grass gets any taller than 8 inches.
With it being the lone bid, the council unanimously approved the bid as presented.
