Republican Party Caucus Held to Find New Pulaski County Council Member

A Republican Party Caucus was held Saturday, April 8 to find a new Pulaski County Council At-Large member.

Adam Loehmer announced his resignation from the seat in March.

Five candidates filed the proper paperwork to be considered by the Republican Precinct Committeemen to fill the seat. Kenny Becker, Rudy DeSabatine, Sheila Jimenez, John Masterson, and Isaiah Tidwell all spoke to the Committeemen so the representatives could make an informed vote.

In the end, Sheila Jimenez received the majority vote. She was sworn into office by Clerk JoLynn Behny.
