Officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation announced portions of U.S. 35 will be closed in Pulaski County and in Cass County for approximately two weeks beginning on or after Monday, May 8.
U.S. 35 will be closed between County Road E. 900 S. and County Road S. 400 E. in Pulaski County for a bridge deck overlay over Indian Creek. The detour will follow State Road 14, State Road 17 and State Road 16.
In Cass County, U.S. 35 will be closed between County Road 400 N. and County Road 300 N. for a bridge deck overlay project over Crooked Creek. The detour for this closure will follow State Road 16, State Road 17, State Road 25 and State Road 29.
Motorists who utilize U.S. 35 for long distance travel through this corridor should plan an alternate route. The signed detour will follow State Road 14, State Road 17 and State Road 25. Local traffic can utilize State Road 16 to access locations between the two closures.
