The Medaryville Town Council recently held a special meeting for the swearing in of new council members, rescheduling of monthly meetings and the reorganization of the town council.
Steven Foust and Ashlee Salyer were sworn in by Clerk-Treasurer Stacy Conley and will now join the Medaryville Town Council.
In the reorganization of the council, Council member Ashlee Salyer nominated Steven Foust for town council president. This motion passed with a 3-0 vote. Foust then nominated Ashlee Salyer as town council vice-president. The motion was carried over with a 3-0 vote.
Foust then made a motion to move monthly meetings from the third Thursdays of the month to the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. ET. Council member Suzanna Wilcoxon seconded the motion and it was passed with a 3-0 vote.
