At a recent Oregon-Davis School Board meeting, board members were updated on the status of the pre-school program.
Oregon-Davis has officially been Level 3 certified which means a big difference in funding. The corporation will now be eligible for On My Way Pre-K dollars.
On My Way Pre-K is an Indiana program that awards grants to four-year-olds from low income families so that they may have access to a high-quality Pre-K program the year before students start Kindergarten.
With the Level 3 certification coming a year before anticipated and there being very few Level 3 certified pre-school programs in the county, this is a big achievement for the Oregon-Davis School Corporation.
