State Road 39 in Starke County will be closed between State Road 8 and County Road 50 S. on or after Friday, May 12.
Indiana Department of Transportation officials say contractor Rieth-Riley Construction will be replacing a small structure at Prettyman Ditch. The closure should last approximately 10 days.
Motorists should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 8, U.S. 35 and State Road 10.
