A free COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinic will be available this month by the Pulaski County Health Department and the Indiana Department of Health.
The opportunities are scheduled for Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 30 at the Knights of Columbus parking lot at 340 E. 50 N. in Winamac from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.
The COVID-19 vaccine will be available as well rapid antigen tests and the flu vaccine.
Officials from the Pulaski County Health Department and the Indiana Department of Health encourage residents to get an updated Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. They say updated Pfizer and Moderna vaccines provide better protection against Omicron variants.
Residents 12 and older can get the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Children 5 to 11 years of age can receive the pediatric Pfizer vaccine.
