Winamac Coil Spring is celebrating its 75th Anniversary Friday, May 5.
Sales and Marketing Manager Brian Shafer said after all of these years the company remains family owned and operated.
“We produce cold-wound mechanical springs everything from compression, extension, torsion, wire forms, predominantly for the agriculture industry, but we do products for the off-road industry, heavy equipment, and all the way down to medical.”
Over 170 employees are looking forward to Friday’s anniversary event that will feature facility tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET at 512 N. Smith Street in Kewanna. Members of the public will be able to vote for their favorite department at the end of the tour where the employees in that winning department will earn some well-deserved time off. Food trucks and other surprises await visitors Friday.
