The Food Bank of Northern Indiana Mobile Food Pantry will be in La Porte County next week.
The distribution will be Monday, June 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. CT at the La Porte County Fairgrounds at 2581 State Road 2 in La Porte, sponsored by HealthLinc. This distribution may assist up to 200 households.
Assorted food items are offered free of charge. All items are pre-boxed and pre-bagged. Food is distributed on a first come, first served basis, and while supplies last for those in need of food assistance. There will be one box or bag per household.
Distributions are drive-thru. Clients are asked to remain in the vehicle and open the trunk of the vehicle to receive items. An area will be available for self-loading if the trunk does not open.
