Arrest Made in Medaryville Burglary Investigation

An arrest has been made in a burglary investigation in Medaryville.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department deputies say they responded to an alarm call at the Marathon gas station and convenience store at 403 N. U.S. 421 in Medaryville Friday, June 30 at 2 a.m. ET.  Upon arrival, officers saw that the suspect broke the front window to gain entry into the store and several items were stolen, according to the report. 

The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Within six hours, deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office located a suspect, followed up with the investigation, and arrested a 17-year-old juvenile on a preliminary felony charge of burglary.

Formal charges will be determined by the Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office. 

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
