The Knox City Council approved a land lease agreement with Surf Wireless during their meeting Tuesday.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok told the council Surf Wireless has requested an eight foot by four foot space in order to place their communication cabinets near the town’s water plant. Mayor Estok stated the space is off to the corner and out of the way near the water plant. He added the town will receive $50 a month from Surf Wireless for the requested space.
A motion was made to approve the land lease agreement with Surf Wireless. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
