The Knox Community School Board announced they have found their next superintendent during their meeting Tuesday.
Interim Superintendent Ross Sloat told WKVI News the board approved an administrative contract for Greg Mikulich in efforts for him to become the next superintendent. Sloat stated the hire will not be official until the board holds a public hearing on the superintendent’s contract. He added the contract would be for three years pending a public hearing that has been scheduled for Monday, July 17.
Sloat stated he will continue being the interim superintendent through July 31. He added he will be working with administrators to help the transition process go smoothly for Mikulich.
The public hearing for the superintendent’s contract will be held Monday, July 17 at 6:00 p.m. CT in the Administration Office at 2 Redskin Trail.
