The Knox Community School Board plans to go over the second reading of the Special Education Service Agreement during their meeting tonight.
In a previous meeting, it was announced the board has been in communication with North Judson-San Pierre and Oregon-Davis School Corporations in preparation of the next step after JESSE. The JESSE program will no longer be available to area schools after the 2023-2024 school year. It was discussed the three schools are hoping to work together in providing special education services to Starke County. The board approved the first reading at that same meeting. The second and final reading is up for approval tonight.
The school board will also discuss a Memorandum of Understanding with Ivy Tech Community College. The Knox Community School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. CT tonight in the Administration Office at 2 Redskin Trail.
