An Indiana Department of Transportation project in White County will postpone a culvert replacement project in Pulaski County that was previously slated to start soon.
U.S. 35 in Pulaski County recently reopened between County Road E. 600 S. and County Road E. 675 S. at Mud Creek after a culvert replacement. Another culvert replacement was scheduled to begin on U.S. 35 after the one at Mud Creek project was complete but will now be pushed back until after work is done on State Road 119 in White County.
State Road 119 between County Road 1000 N. and 950 N. will be closed on or after Wednesday, July 5 for a pipe upgrade to a concrete box culvert at Ackerman Ditch. The official detour will follow U.S. 35 and State Road 16.
The project on State Road 119 is anticipated to continue through early August. At that time, the U.S. 35 project between 900 S. and 1000 S. at Wilson Wiseley Ditch will begin.
