Bella Vita has moved with a few more services to help mothers and fathers in need as they transition into parenthood.
As a guest on the WKVI Morning Show, Bella Vita Co-Founder Becky Bailey said that the facility has moved to 1006 South Edgewood Drive in Knox, which is in the same building as the Duneland Dialysis business and the Cheryl Lyn Welter Charitable Foundation organization.
An Open House is scheduled at Bella Vita Monday, August 14 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT where the community can tour the new facility and learn about the crisis pregnancy center. Clients are able to get free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, and attend classes and programs to get on the right track. Officials there are working to provide more medical and STD testing, Medicaid signups, assistance to get to doctor’s appointments, and more as they work through the 13th year of operation.
The previous home of Bella Vita on Heaton Street will not be vacant for long. Bailey indicated that the building will be converted into a maternity home where there will be a place for moms to stay to help raise their babies until the babies are 18 to 24 months of age.
