The project awarded Blight Elimination Grant funds in Winamac should start by the end of the month.
Winamac Town Manager Brad Zellers told the Winamac Town Council members this week that the contractor will begin the project in the next couple of weeks.
The project includes the demolition of the silos on Logan Street.
The Town of Winamac previously received a Blight Elimination Program grant to assist with funding the demolition.
Zellers previously stated that Jackson Demolition Services was awarded the bid at a cost of $235,000.
