The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members opened a public hearing Tuesday night to take comments on the proposed superintendent’s contract.
Board President Derrick Stalbaum told WKVI News that there was no public comment on the contract.
If all is approved by the school board Tuesday, August 15, the new superintendent is slated to be Kelly Shepherd. The board is expected to take official action on his hire during that August 15 meeting. Shepherd’s first official day as superintendent would be Wednesday, August 16.
Shepherd is currently in the role as an administrative assistant to do most of the duties a superintendent would do until he is officially hired into that role.
