The Winamac Town Council members recently approved the purchase of an electric generator for a lift station. The generator will be purchased from Baker Electric out of Lafayette at a cost of $21,974.
The council members are advertising the acquisition of quotes to clean out the lagoon at the Wastewater facility.
Town Manager Brad Zellers said a new income survey will be done soon as the current survey is almost outdated. An income survey is required if the town opts to seek out grants for projects. More information will be available on that soon.
Additionally, Dave Scott and Tom Miller were recently appointed to serve on the new Pulaski County Tourism Advisory Council.
