The Hamlet Town Council members continued discussions on the efforts to clean up the property at 101 Hamlet Street.
The property was destroyed by a fire months ago and the property has been deemed unsafe as a result. The town is working with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to conduct an inspection and steps will be taken to work to get the property back to a good condition.
Additionally, the Hamlet Town Council members are looking into getting quotes to pave McCormick Street. The street was dug up to take care of some drainage work and it needs to be repaved. The council will talk more about wrapping up that project in a future meeting.
