City of Knox Mayor Dennis Estok gave town council members an update on Wthogan Park’s Splash Pad during their meeting Tuesday.
Mayor Estok stated the Splash Pad will officially be closed for the season Monday, September 25. He added the city will winterize the Splash Pad and also provide maintenance work on the structure at that time.
In other news the mayor went on to announce the city’s Trunk or Treat event will be held on Sunday, October 29 running from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT. He added this event is for all Starke County Buisnesses and non profits.
Historically Starke County businesses pass out candy to trick-or-treaters at Wythogan Park in Knox. Mayor Estok said last year turn out was great and expects the same to occur this year.
