The North Judson Town Council members approved the advertisement of the 2024 budget when they met last week.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers listed on the Indiana Gateway website, the town’s major funds include the General Fund which is advertised at just over $967,000, the Local Road and Street Fund at about $31,000, Motor Vehicle Highway at about $103,000, the Park Fund at about $46,000, Cumulative Capital Development at $5,000, CEDIT Fund at about $119,000, Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant at $124,800, and the American Rescue Plan Act Fund at about $164,000.
All of the funds total $1.58 million.
The public hearing on the 2024 budget is scheduled for the North Judson Town Council’s next meeting Monday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the North Judson Town Hall. The budget is anticipated to be adopted October 2.
