Pulaski County Council to Hold Public Hearing on Budget September 11

The Pulaski County Council will hold a public hearing on the county’s proposed 2024 budget Monday, September 11.

According to the Notice to Taxpayers information on the Indiana Gateway website, the major funds include the General Fund which is advertised at about $9.5 million, Highway Special Fund at about $2 million, Local Road and Street at $240,000, Motor Vehicle Highway Fund at about $2.5 million, Cumulative Bridge Fund at $780,000, Cumulative Capital Development Fund at $311,300, Economic Development Income Tax (CEDIT) Fund at about $1.8 million, the LOIT B Public Safety County Share is about $1.4 million, and the American Rescue Plan Act Fund is at about $2.4 million. 

All funds listed in the advertisement totals $26,597,113. 

The public hearing is at 7 p.m. ET at the Pulaski County Highway Garage at 1131 N. U.S. 35 in Winamac.
