The Starke County Council will meet today where the members are anticipated to adopt the 2024 budgets.
The council will also review a job description salary request from EMS Director James Garner. Starke County Community Foundation Director of Development Jacque Ryan will report on the Save the Hospital Funds Endowment.
Starke County Economic Development Foundation Executive Director Lisa Dan will have several updates for the council members, and Highway Department Superintendent Dan Dipert and Surveyor Thomas Schouten will present transfer and additional appropriation requests.
Councilwoman Cassandra Hine will have legislative updates for the council.
The Starke County Council will meet at 4:30 p.m. CT today in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
