Starke County LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) officials will be hosting a training exercise Saturday, September 30 at Knox Fertilizer.
All Starke County fire departments will be involved in the scenario, as well as EMS and other hazmat and first responders.
LEPC plans a training exercise, or scenario, each year to keep up with skills and response training and communication.
Again, Saturday’s event at Knox Fertilizer is a training exercise only.
