The Winamac Town Council discussed lagoon cleaning during their meeting last week.
Winamac Town Manager Brad Zellers told WKVI News the council approved the lowest bid presented. He stated Merrell Brothers, Inc. bid $191,686 to manage and recycle bio-solids within the city’s lagoon at the town’s wastewater plant at 1950 South US Highway 35.
Zellers stated a motion was made to approve the bid from Merrell Brothers. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
