Winamac Town Council to Meet Tonight

The Winamac Town Council members will meet tonight where a public hearing will be held on the proposed 2024 budget.

Following the public hearing, the regular session will get underway with an appreciation award to be presented.

The council will also hear from Baker Tilly officials concerning 2024 cash flows and a second quarter report.

Winamac Town Manager Brad Zellers will discuss the wastewater report, lagoon cleaning, trash service, and golf carts. The council will later consider a golf cart ordinance and a speed limit ordinance, along with a Pulaski County Economic Development Commission appointment. 

Winamac Clerk-Treasurer Kendra Craft will present a report on the debt management report filed in Gateway and a self-audit completed for Worker’s Compensation.  Other reports will be given by Electric Department Superintendent Doug Shorter and Water and Street Department Superintendent Jeremy Beckner.

The Winamac Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight at the Winamac Municipal Building at 623 W. 11th Street.

Immediately following this meeting, the Winamac Metropolitan Board of Police Commissioners will meet where Chief Campbell will present information to the board.
