Five people were arrested Thursday, October 19 following the execution of a search warrant in the 1600 E. block of 400 South in Starke County.
According to the Starke County Sheriff’s Office, a search of the residence by officers around 3 p.m. CT uncovered suspected methamphetamine/fentayl, a scale, syringes (including a loaded syringe), and several items of paraphernalia.
Deputies from the Starke County Sheriff’s Office took into custody 43-year-old Angela Hayes of Knox, 27-year-old Christine Blough of North Judson, 25-year-old Aaron Keefover of Francesville, 56-year-old Morris Fowler of Knox, and 23-year-old Jeffrey Jacobs of North Judson. All suspects face preliminary Level 6 Felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug, and a misdemeanor charge of visiting a common nuisance.
Formal charges will be determined by the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
