The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members approved an upcoming lighting project.
Superintendent Kelly Shepherd said the project will occur at the Middle School and Administration Building.
“Those are the final two assets that we have that have not converted to LED lighting,” explained Shepherd. “They were slated to take care of the project on a summer list for next summer, but we were able to get that moved up because we had the funds on hand to pay for that project. The sooner we get it completed, the sooner we start realizing utility savings.”
Shepherd said the project will cost about $100,000 and the funds will come from leftover bond money from the recent Elementary School project.
