The Oregon-Davis School Board members opened a public hearing during their recent meeting to take public comments on the proposed superintendent contract through 2026.
The base salary throughout that time is proposed at $102,900. The contract also has the board’s cost of health insurance, dental insurance and vision insurance. The contract also has the board cost of long-term disability insurance and the contribution to the Indiana State Teacher’s Retirement Fund. It includes the board’s cost required by employment statutes for Social Security.
The superintendent would receive 25 days of paid vacation in this contract, and 10 paid holidays per year and 13 PTO days per year.
Superintendent Bill Bennett told WKVI News that there were no comments provided on the proposed superintendent’s salary.
The board plans to discuss the proposed salary and benefits in an upcoming meeting.
