Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dunnet Bay Construction Company will close State Road 39 between County Road 1800 S. and State Road 8 beginning on or after Wednesday, November 1.
State Road 39 will be closed for approximately 20 days for a bridge deck overlay project over the Kankakee River.
Motorists should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 8, U.S. 35 and U.S. 30.
