Two people were injured in a Tuesday afternoon accident in the area of Range Road and 500 South in Starke County.
Starke County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the area at approximately 4:43 p.m. CT. Police say the driver of a Ford EcoSport, Kathleen Robb of North Judson, told officers that the was stopped at stop sign on Range Road and looked both ways before entering the intersection, but did not see a Ford Focus, driven by Keili Pearce of Winamac, traveling on 500 South. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
Both drivers sustained injuries in the accident and were transported to Northwest Health.
The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Starke County Dispatch, Starke County EMS, North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department, North Judson Police Department, and the Bass Lake-California Township Fire Department.
