The Winamac High School will host a FAFSA night for students Monday, October 23, according to Eastern Pulaski School Superintendent Dara Chezem.
”It’s a service that we’re providing to students and families to support completing the FAFSA,” said Chezem. “The FAFSA is a free application completed by current and prospective college students to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. This year the Indiana Department of Education’s goal is that all seniors complete this form. We’re going to have staff available that night to help them.”
Chezem said the corporation is also hosting Veterans Day programs.
“We always have special programs to honor our veterans both at the Elementary and at the High School on November 10. That evening we have a special event. Winamac Alum Jerod Bolt will be hosting a special concert Friday night in the auditorium. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or in the High School office. A percentage of the proceeds will go to local Veterans of Foreign Wars.”
