A semi hauling livestock overturned in the area of State Road 14 and U.S. 421 in Medaryville Tuesday, November 7.
Deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office were notified of the crash and they reportedly determined that a semi driver hauling hogs attempted to turn east onto State Road 14 off of U.S. 421 when the weight in the trailer shifted to one side, causing the tractor-trailer to overturn.
The driver, Richard Chastain of Rensselaer, was not injured in the accident and police say the hogs were transferred to other livestock trailers at the accident scene.
