The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members learned last week that the new playground equipment at the Elementary School has been installed. The last component of that project is the surface material and once that is applied, Superintendent Kelly Shepherd said the equipment can be used by the students.
Shepherd also said the school board approved the second reading of NEOLA policies.
“It was a batch of about 10 to 12 policies that focused mainly on some mandatory curriculum, some student privacy and parental access information, and then new employee hires and certain requirements that have been tweaked on background checks,” said Shepherd.
The last reading will take place during the board’s next meeting.
