The North Judson Town Council members heard from Veridus Group representatives to discuss a town manager position.
The council has been discussing hiring the company as a consultant to assist with possibly implementing the position of town manager for North Judson. The Veridus Group presented proposals to assist with economic development services for the town transition to include the town manager position.
The council discussed hiring the company at $4,000 to assist with implementing the position of town manager, to assess the work being done and then possibly move a person into the role at a future date. Also presented was a proposal to provide economic development services to the town for $4000 a month.
The company will come back before the North Judson Town Council at their next meeting Monday, November 20 to bring a proposal and the council will consider the next steps at that time.
