The Starke County Community Foundation’s annual Giving Tuesday event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 28 at the Foundation’s office at 300 Keller Avenue in North Judson from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT.
Giving Tuesday is an international holiday that highlights local and global nonprofits that work year-round serving their communities.
Foundation officials say this year the Giving Tuesday campaign includes a community fund matching initiative as well as $15,000 local match opportunity, where donations to all other types of funds can be matched $1 for $1 up to $500 per donor, per fund.
Contributions can be made in person or online at nicf.org.
