Students at Winamac Community High School have the opportunity to participate in JAG, or Jobs for America’s Graduates, according to Eastern Pulaski School Corporation Superintendent Dara Chezem.
“Recently, Governor Holcomb increased funding to add additional JAG programs throughout the state. JAG is a two-year program that fits well within our graduation pathways at Winamac Community High School. It provides for competency in our students in the areas of career development, job attainment, job survival, and basic interpersonal skills. Currently, WorkOne is looking for a teacher for this program. They would be employed through WorkOne, but would be based here in the High School teaching our JAG program. We’re very excited about that opportunity coming up.”
