The Winamac Park Board members were recently honored with a certificate from the Memorial Swinging Bridge representatives.
Town Manager Brad Zellers said Greg Henry from the Memorial Swinging Bridge committee presented the park board with a certificate to thank the members for their help with the recent lighting project.
Zellers also stated that a park board member would like to include a public information board at the park. Efforts will be made to gather more information on that project along with costs.
Beyond that, normal maintenance is occurring at the parks which was detailed by Park Superintendent Aaron Spanley.
