The North Judson Town Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT where they will continue to discuss an agreement with Veridus Group for their assistance in implementing the role of a town manager. Among the work to be conducted will include the creation of a job description of a town manager to be filled at a later date. They will be discussing work by other town managers of similar size in the state to include certain duties and customize it to fit the needs of North Judson. The council members hope that at some point the company can help the town focus on economic development strategies.
The council will also discuss additional appropriations and the Light up North Judson contest. A transfer of funds resolution is also on the agenda for approval.
Prior to the council’s meeting, the North Judson Redevelopment Commission meeting will take place at 5:45 p.m. CT where the members will discuss the bids for the Town Park project and the 2024 budget.
Both meetings will be held in the North Judson Town Hall at 310 Lane Street.
