A longtime employee of the Starke County Economic Development Foundation (SCEDF) is leaving the local nonprofit organization.
SCEDF Executive Director Lisa Dan announced her resignation at the Starke County Commissioner and Council meetings on Monday. In a press release provided by SCEDF, it was noted Dan had previously shared the news with the SCEDF Board of Directors.
The press release stated she is taking a job with another organization but will continue to reside in Starke County. It also stated the SCEDF board will appoint an interim executive director when they reorganize in January. SCEDF is a nonprofit local economic development organization that provides economic development opportunities for Starke County but is not a branch of county government.
During the commissioner and council meetings, Dan was thanked for her work with the nonprofit organization. Her last day at SCEDF will be January 5.
