The Starke County Commissioners and Council will meet in special session this afternoon (Friday, December 15) in an effort to welcome State Health Commissioner Dr. Lindsay Weaver.
Dr. Weaver is visiting all 92 counties to help strengthen the relationship between the state and local health departments, as well as address any issues in each county and to discuss the Health First Indiana plan.
The meeting will be held today at 3 p.m. CT in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox. If members of the public cannot attend in person, call the Auditor’s Office at 574-772-9101 for a Zoom invite.
