The Starke County Commissioners will meet today where they will discuss several items as leaders meet for one of the last meetings of the year.
The Starke County Commissioners will open bids for the Community Crossings Matching Grant project. A 2024 contractual services agreement with Purdue Extension will be reviewed, and the commissioners will discuss the plotter equipment.
A job description for the Starke County Health Department will be reviewed, as well as a truck purchase for the Starke County Park Department. A Memorandum of Understanding for the EAP program with Porter-Starke Services will also be considered for approval.
Starke County EMS Director James Garner will have a monthly report and a request to purchase equipment, Starke County Economic Development Foundation Executive Director Lisa Dan will provide an update, and a monthly report from the Highway Department will be provided.
Auditor Rachel Oesterreich will also have her regular report.
The Starke County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. CT today in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
