A USDA mobile food distribution will be Wednesday, December 13 at the Knox United Methodist Church at 201 S. Shield Street from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT.
Volunteers are encouraged to help distribute the food at the church. Food is sorted by hand and safely loaded into a moving line of vehicles. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8 a.m. CT. Food will be distributed to approximately 200 households or while supplies last.
Assorted food items will be offered free of charge. All items are pre-boxed and pre-bagged on a first come, first served bases, while supplies last for those in need of food assistance. Only one box/bag will be distributed per household.
Distributions are drive thru. Remain in the vehicle and open the trunk to receive items. An area will be available for self-loading if the vehicle’s trunk does not open.
