BraunAbility employees nominated local daycare facilities, preschools and elementary schools to receive sets of books about disability trailblazers, including company founder Ralph Braun.
The books were hand delivered by employees, many of whom had children or grandchildren attending the schools. The Pre-K reading level series features biographies of individuals with disabilities, past and present, who made a significant contribution to society.
A total of 36 sets were donated in communities where BraunAbility employees live and work. Local donations included daycare facilities, preschools and elementary schools in Winamac, Francesville, Knox, North Judson, Rochester, Logansport, Argos, and Plymouth.
