The North Judson Town Council members discussed an ordinance that would create a town manager position for the Town of North Judson.
The Veridus Group is assisting the town in creating this position where the council has documents to review. Those documents involve an organizational chart, an ordinance that creates the position, and a job description. The proposed job description is patterned after industry standards, state code, and additional wording that would format the position specifically to the Town of North Judson.
The town manager would be chosen by the voting members of the town council.
The North Judson Town Council approved the first reading of the ordinance with additional readings planned during the council’s January 15 meeting.
