The Starke County Commissioners will meet today where the board will review a job description for approval and a funding request from the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
The commissioners will also receive information about Safe Kids Northwest Indiana, and an update from Starke County Community Foundation Director of Development Jacque Ryan.
Washington Township Trustee Cathy Benko will discuss fencing quotes for the tower, Starke County Sheriff Jack Rosa and Matron April Wilhelm will discuss a vehicle purchase, and a Planning Commission representative will have a cell phone request and talk about online permitting.
Highway Department Interim Superintendent Rachel Oesterreich will present a monthly report and discuss a fuel contract, plus the approval of an application for the Community Crossings Matching Grant program.
EMS Director James Garner will also have a monthly report and a position relocation.
The Starke County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. CT today in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
