Mail-in absentee ballot applications are available for the 2024 election.
The Starke County Election Board members discussed that during their most recent meeting, according to Clerk Bernadette Manuel. The applications will be processed, but ballots will not be mailed to those who submitted applications until mid-March.
The board also noted that all campaign finance reports from the 2023 Municipal Election were turned in on a timely basis.
Candidate filings are ongoing until Friday, February 9 at noon. Manuel said previously that all campaign materials are available on the county’s website.
The next meeting of the Starke County Election Board is Wednesday, February 14 at 9:30 a.m. CT in the second floor conference room in the Starke County Courthouse in Knox.
